Renaissance Newport Beach Hotel

Our room & the hotel were very nice & clean and very pleasant. Nice towels for the shower (not chinsey). Bed & pillows were very comfortable. Only wish we would’ve had an extra blanket (just to keep us warm as we climbed into bed, but it was ok.) It really was very comfortable. Also enjoyed the pleasant lounge/eating area. Nice live music and all the staff was pleasant & accommodating.

Food was delicious, employees attitude to service was good not excellent, I have received better. The room was clean, the amenities were great for someone looking to relax.

The staff was Great. From the check in with the help of Blake. To morning room service by Eduardo. Valet service was very friendly and the grounds were nice. The only concern would be the in the house keeping. They are under appreciated and have a Very important job. Pay them more and the rooms will probably look and feel fresh and Clean. Thank you .

The valet were the nicest staff at the whole hotel, the bartender was so generous and kind, the pool was heated and amazing, the outdoor seating was so comfortable, we felt deeply appreciated and accommodated

The sofa in our business suite looked nice and modern but was the most uncomfortable sofa to sit on, let alone relax. The bed was surprisingly very comfortable. The breakfast was good but average for a $65.00 per person breakfast. They do make eggs prepared how one prefers, however. The staff there was professional but not that friendly, for a supposed Marriot property. The Wait staff tries to take your meal dishes before asking you to take them and answers with "No Problem" instead of "My pleasure." This is a Marriot trademark; my wife worked for the Marriot for 10 years, and she knows.
